Hi all,
I'm trying to export a view tables from a Oracle database to a Mysql
database. I create insert statements (they look alright), but it all goes
wrong when I try to execute them in Mysql, because the dates must have
quotes on each side.
I just don't know how make the dates right.
Well I'll just show you the code and some insert statements it generates.
Could anyone please help me?

standard date formats twice in to something like "dd Mmm yyyy" (i.e. 08 Jan
1908) and compare the first with the second and calculate days, months, and
years. This is not for a college course. It's for my own personal

Hello,
I have an Access DB with a column holding dates from present day back
to around year 1702, and I am trying to run DTS Import with this MDB, which
fails due to a conversion error.
MSDN says the datetime data type only allows 1753-01-01 to 1900-01-01, thus
I am under the impression having the field as varchar is the only way
to store the dates.

I currently work in ASP and am in the process of moving some
application across to PHP. At present I store dates in a database in
numerical format 38694, which is 08/12/2005. In ASP its very easy to
convert this value back into a date, but I cannot find a way to do this
in PHP.

I've built a program that show some dates to users. I got a problem when
users have different configured time zone machines, where:
- One machine that determined time zone the date displayed is 01/01/2006.
- In other different machine (and other configured time zone), the date
displayed is 12/31/2006 19:00:00

I am trying to calculate the number of workdays between two dates with
regards to holidays as well. I have used Arvin Meyer's code on the Access
Web, but as I am in Australia and my date format is dd/mm/yyyy, I have found
that the dates I put in my holidays table are reversed into American dates.
So, the wrong holiday dates are subtracted from the total workdays between
the start and end dates. Is there an easy fix for this?

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
