Automatic Import of Emails

Is there a way to automatically import incoming emails into a SQL
Server Database?
I know it is inefficient, but we have to run a number of rules on the
email after it is received. Store it in a database and be able to
connect other things, meetings, contacts, etc. Moving it back and
forth in chunks can be difficult and the overhead could spiral out of
control.
So we were thinking of moving it to the DB as it was retrieved.
What do you think would be a better solution to retrieve it?
Does my email make sense?

Maybe not import, but read. See xp_readmail/xp_findnextmsg (in SQL2000 sp3
and up) in BOL. With this and ServerAgent you can implement an automatic
mail processing system.

Hi All, I need to write an ASP page that will allow users to upload an Excel file, the contents of which should then be imported into an SQL database. Problem I am facing is how to do this efficiently. So far I have a page that will accept an upload, then display the data from the Excel file, my first thought was to loop each row, then run an update/insert based on the data found...Obviously this is not going to be very efficient, I'd...

Hi, I wrote the 'autoimp' module , which allows you to import lazy modules: from autoimp import * (Import lazy wrapper objects around all modules; "lazy modules" will turn into normal modules when an attribute is first accessed with getattr()). from autoimp import A, B (Import specific lazy module wrapper objects). The main point of autoimp is to make usage of the interactive Python prompt

Hey guys, I don't have an issue right now but I am starting a trading website similar to eBay and I cannot get my head around one thing. How do you code so that emails are sent out automatically without any user input/events. Like when an eBay auction ends, you the seller would receive an email telling you that it ended. Or if say you have a yearly subscription to something and it's about to end, an email would be sent out telling you that...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
