Hi,
I have been trying to set up an automated restore process from prod to
backup server. First, I schedule the full database backup nightly,
transfer the backup file and restore it to the database on the backup
server. Meanwhile, I leave the database ready to accept transaction
log from the transaction log backup at noon daily.
And I had used different restore options to test out the transaction
that was being applied. And I couldn't...

A publication style guide indicates that for a table heading like the
following,
Table 3. Wheat and rye harvest in European countries in years that end in 3
or 7 or when a new prime minister takes office.
when the heading flows over more than one line, a hanging indent should be
used, such that the remainder of the heading should be left-aligned, in this
example, with "Wheat", leaving "Table 3. " standing off by itself on the
left.

Maybe there is a simple trick here, and I'm not spotting it... Is there a
guru of CSS hanging around here who can help out?
The page in question has a multi-column table with a list of links in each
column. Because links are added and deleted separately in each column, it
would be exceedingly awkward to use a separate table row for each link.
Therefore, within each column the links are separated by <br> tags. However,
the automatic line...

The following failed in EM (or whatever it is called now management
studio I think) and I scripted it out and ran it in a query window to
get more info. This works fine in SQL 2000 but not in 2005. I also tried
to 'create' the database first then ran this command below but with the
'force restore over existing database' checked on but this failed also
which is odd as well. Any ideas. This is my very first play with 2005 so
it is not off to...

Hello,
I have several archived filegroups that have data in them partitioned
based on the date. These filegroups have been removed from database
after archival. For example two months ago. Meantime my production
database is populating everyday.
Now I would like to restore one of my old archived filegroups. In order
to do that I would like to backup and restore the current Primary
filegroup to another server, and also restore the...

Hello guys,
I was wondering if anybody here had implemented a solution where
Tables are aligned according to what the hanging indent tells us when
there is a potential for the table overflowing in the right margin or
out of the page.
I did some research a while back and came to the conclusion at that
time that it wasn't possible to have both (either we align on the
hanging indent and if there is a potential for a table to be 6.75

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
