Hi Experts,
I'm new to JavaScript and web-based apps development, so I'll tell you right off
that I don't really know my way around it as of yet.
I'm trying to create a code library set with JavaScript (in DreamweaverMX)
to display "buttons" with which to select pages in a gallery. I'm trying to
"grey out" (and disable) the button for the current page when it is displayed.
(This isn't rocket science here, but it's something that I...

The web page at http://www.rossowinspections.com/ has an issue with the
left menu. The left menu has 7 links. One of the links doesn't work.
Using Firefox 1.5 the Fees link isn't a clickable link, if viewed as a
full screen. If you shrink the window down the Fees link then becomes
a link. The link works in IE and Mozilla. I've validated the CSS and
XHTML, the CSS had no errors, the XHTML has no errors other than the
paramaters for the...

Hello,
I'm having trouble figuring something out. I have to reproduce a PDF
output and in the original document, "revision indicators" are used to
show which parts of the document have changed since last version.
This revision indicator simply looks like a border to the left of the
page, but is always located at the same distance from the edge of the
page. Ouputing a border on the containing block doesn't work because
the blocks are...

Hi- this is the project that will not end! (sure you've all been there). I had originally purchased a php/css nav bar for the client, but it was buggy as hell, so I decided to do in css, in which I am still a novice, I am afraid.
You can see the sample nav bar at www.tangerine-sky.com/horizontal_nav.html (I am pasting source code below)
It's very simple, has the css included in the page ... works fine on a mac, okay on firefox on a PC but...

I desperately need help. My understanding of CSS is non-existent. I have a store http://astore.amazon.com/texasheat-20 with Amazon.com. According to the information from Amazon.com "Write your own overriding CSS to customize your aStore." Their setup page is divided into two sections. On the right they show the existing CSS. On the left there is a box where you can add the new code. They have tabs for "Global", "Category Page", "Detail Page",...

I'm working on this site:
http://www.essenceofsoy.com/redesign/index2.html
and I'm having a few problems with getting the layout exactly right.
1) When the menu items are rolled over, they cannot be clicked as links unless the mouse pointer is below the word. This happens in both Firefox and IE6.
2) In Firefox, the pink quote banner and two gray form boxes above and below the content aren't centered in the "content" div, and I can't...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
