I don't even know which operating system you're talking about. But if I had to guess, you're talking about one of the Windows operating systems. But I don't know which version.

What do you mean the administrator window shows nothing? A screenshot would help.

You could try using that other account to reenable the administrator account.

I have a small asp.net web app running on a shared host. It uses a Jet (Access) database. I included a routine to compact the database when the application_event fires if it has not been compacted for a certain period of time. A compact must be done into a new file. In other words mydb.mdb compacts into mydb2.mdb. The original file (mydb.mdb) then gets deleted and mydb2.mdb is renamed to mydb.mdb. This routine works fine on another shared...

We have a System DSN using Windows NT authentication defined on the development box to connect to the SQL Server (both SQL and IIS are on the 192.168.1.2 server). We have "Identity Impersonate=true", and "CustomErrors mode=On" and "defaultRedirect="ErrorHandler.aspx" in web.config.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
