can I move and size a subprocess window on windows

1 New Member
I am opening an EXE via subprocess.Pope n (via CGI python)
Unfortunately it opens in a location that is not desirable. Since I am performing live, this is a deal breaker.
Is there a way to specify the size and location for the subprocess to open it window?
Or force it to open minimized (an option for some cases)

I recently came across some code to help play .wav; http://www.codeguru.com/Csharp/Csharp/cs_graphics/sound/article.php/c6143/ and while I got this to work in a stand-alone application, I have been unable to make it work in a bigger one. My program has to play a sequence of .wav files when the play button is clicked. Once it has...

Hi: Does anyone know if the GPG.py module has been updated to use the subprocess module from python 2.4. My web searches find only the original GPG module that requires a fork() -- according to my quick tests anyway. i was about to adapt this to use subprocess, for Windows, but thought i would ask here first. Thanks

Hi - I have some code which works under linux. It starts a remote python process using subprocess and communicates to it via a pipe created by os.pipe. As far as I understand, child processes should inherit file descriptors from the parent if close_fds=False on the suprocess.Popen command line. This code doesn't work under Window, but gives...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...
