Hello,
Your help was very useful last time, so I ask you again... may I?
I have 2 problems:
1) I don't know why, but sometimes, when I open Internet Explorer, the
browser opens itself in a reduced size, so that I have to maximize the
window to see it at full size, and sometimes it opens at full size. Is
somewhere a setting saved up that can explain what happens? I would like

The following code opens a new window, but the "resizeTo" doesn't resize it.
Why not?
(Don't ask why I simply did not open the window with the new size....my
original problem was how to open a new window with maximized dimensions!)
FYI, I uploaded the same code to:
http://tosasoft.com/test/open.htm

Hey there... I'm having some problems passing url parameters with an
open.window command. I'm not terribly familiar with java script but
here is the code below.
When executed it opens the window properly but does not pass the
parameter.

Hi,
I am new to Python, and PAMIE has been a very useful tool for my
website functionality testing.
I was wondering if anyone knows how to do the following testcases with
either PAMIE or Python.
1. Load a page http://www.prophet.net/quotes/stocknews.jsp?symbol=MSFT
Verify that the string 'News for MSFT' exists on the page.
Verify that the date '7 November 2005' is equal to today's date.
Your help would be greatly appreciated and here...

If I open a report using this code it "flashes" as it opens:
DoCmd.OpenReport "NumbersByDate", acViewPreview
DoCmd.Maximize
This is probably to be expected.
If I open the same report using this code it still flashes:
DoCmd.Echo False

When I run my web app via the IDE, it opens up IE maximized (full screen) then when the page gets ready to load it shrinks down my IE window. Is there a way to keep IE to a full screen?

Hey everyone,
I'm trying to automate a webpage using cPamie in conjection with python 2.4. I can get to the page and login. when I try to click the login button, I receive an out of index error. This website has a hidden control that opens a separate page to give messages from the site and those are also posing a problem for me. Code below:
ie = cPAMIE.PAMIE()
ie.Navigate(url)
ie.Navigate(url-2)
ie.SetTextBox(usrname,'USERNAME',0)...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
