i,
I have trying to code a small console app that will
allow a user to select a window and then create a
screen capture of the window. I haven't been able to
figure out how to do the screen capture part. The
code is as follows, the commented out lines at the end
are things I have tried, but don't work. Whenever I
try to create a compatibe Bitmap or DC it comes back
with an error as
win32ui: CreateCompatibleDC failed

Hello, I'm making HTTP requests with System.Net.HTTPWebRequest and I
want to capture the entire header of the request as a string. I'm able
to do this with responses but now the requests. Am I missing it in the
API somewhere or is there another way?
thank you

I need to take a screen shot of the computer screen.
I am trying to use PIL and I saw there is ImageGrab...however it only
works on Windows. Is there a platform-independent ability to work
around this?
thanks

i'm trying to capture video from camera/webcam using python.
so far i haven't found any library that would allow me to do that.
cross-platform solution related to SDL/pygame would be nice but a
simple solution to capture video under windows is ok.

I perform a XML-RPC call by calling xmlrpclibBasicAuth which in turn calls
xmlrpclib. This call of course sends a HTTP request with correct HTTP
headers. The response is correctly parsed by xmlrpclib, and I get my desired
values.
However, I also need to get the raw HTTP headers from the HTTP response. There
is a cookie in the HTTP response and I need to read that cookie.
How could I do that?

Hi,
I was wondering if I can do a capture of a VNC screen in python. Kinda
like this http://search.cpan.org/~lbrocard/Net-VNC-0.35/lib/Net/VNC.pm
but without opening a VNC window or doing a screen capture.
Thanks for any suggestions

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
