If you are dealing with one PCI card, is there a way (from within a
dll) to find out which PCI slot that card is inhabiting (1 or 2 or 6,
etc.)? It doesn't matter if the solution is MFC, or straight C++/C,
just has to be on a Windows machine.
Thanks in advance.

hi tere,
I'm trying to write an application which should access to the PCI Bus
headers to get all informations about installed cards.
But I dont know how to access to these informations from windows...
I read lspci.c file from a linux distribution, it seems to be not portable
to windows without cygwin...
So, where could I find some hint about how to access to these informations

My PCI auditor told me that my use of the IBM Encryption Tool for DB2 7.1 on z/OS is not PCI compliant since the credit card number is in the index and not encrypted by the IBM tool. Can I use another tool?

I am a senior Electrical Engineering student with a computer science past and am working on a project to transfer data from a Firewire Camera to a PCI FPGA development card. I was wondering if ANYONE AT ALL out there who can help!

I would like to view physical memory that is mapped to a pci board. I
am using a tool called WinIO to try to create a virtual address to
that physical memory. It works for both read and write of some
addresses, like 0x9FFF0. However, the resource the board uses is
address at 0xE8100000 which I cannot pick up with the tool. I have
confirmed that address in windows device manager and in the BAR0 entry
in the table that the PCI board...

Hi all.
This is a rather long posting but I have some questions concerning the
usage of character entities in XML documents and PCI security
compliance.
The company I work for is using a third party ecommerce service for
hosting its online store. A few months ago this third party commerce
site began using PGP file encryption on XML files (e.g. web orders)
transferred to us as part of the ongoing PCI security compliance.

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
