Generating HTML containing XML in an INPUT tag

Hi there,

Using Python, I'm auto-generating an HTML file that contains:
<input type="hidden" value="XXX" />, where XXX is XML data (encoded
somehow).

Articles regarding unicode are making my head spin! Is there a way to
encode XML file contents to a hexadecimal string that could be decoded
on a PHP server?

I have an XML file that is generated based on user entries (GUI from
PythonCard).

After the XML file is created, I want the user to see an HTML preview,
and then click an Upload button on the page. Hidden in the page is the
tag I showed above.

I decided not to generate <input type="file" /because from a
usability standpoint, I want the user to create this file and upload
it to my PHP server in as few steps as possible. Also, I tried setting
the value to the XML file path...my browser security settings don't
like it and I'm sure other browsers won't like it either.

Any ideas?

Hi all, I would like to write a python script that takes input of 2 ip address, one a start address and the other the end address and prints a list of all ip address in between in dotted-decimal format. I've attempted to use the ipv4 module (http://pynms.sourceforge.net/ipv4.html) ,but I am unable to get past this error "AttributeError: 'str' object has no attribute '_address".

Loading text strings containing HTML code into an HTML parser in a Javascript/Jscript I would like to know, how one would go about loading a text string containing HTML code, so as to be able to use javascript or Jscript to work with the HTML code in the text string, in the same way that one works with XML code in a text string using the XML parser. If I was able to load the text string containing the HTML code succesfully, I would be...

Hello everyone. I have quite the puzzling problem with a script I have been working on lately. I have created a function that can be called to create a new html element (e.g. input, select, div, etc.). It is used as follows: addElementToPage("writeroot", "input", "type:button, text:testText, value:testvalue, onclick:test1") The first argument is an ID of the location where the new element it to be appended. The second argument is the type...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
