Is there any library in Python which has implementation of graph
theoretic algorithms and models ?

Other than reading the reference on the
website
https://networkx.lanl.gov/reference/networkx/

you can read the code (eg by browsing the
svn by pointing your web browser at
https://networkx.lanl.gov/browser/networkx/trunk

and then look at
networkx -generators -random_graphs.p y)

If you are not in interactive python mode, try
pydoc networkx.watts_ strogatz_graph

A great way to explore a python package is to
use ipython in interactive mode, then you merely
need to type
>>from networkx import *
watts_strogat z_graph?
and you will get the documentation.

Is there a python module somewhere (been searching today, no luck) which has efficiently coded various graph-handling routines, such as finding the shortest path through a graph, or the set of all paths through a graph? I'm not a compsci-educated person, so coding my own would be less parsimonious. Thanks for any suggestions! D

Is there any interest in a (hypothetical) standard graph API (with 'graph' meaning a network, consisting of nodes and edges)? Yes, we have the standard ways of implementing graphs through (e.g.) dicts mapping nodes to neighbor-sets, but if one wants a graph that's implemented in some other way, this may not be the most convenient (or abstract) interface to emulate. It might be nice to have the kind of polymorphic freedom that one has with,...

Hi, I wonder if someone could help me. I'm trying to develop a search algorithm as I need an engine that can determine the shortest route between two locations based on the number of stops. I have found an article called An Extensive Examination of Data Structures Using C# 2.0 (http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms379574(VS.80).aspx) which is a very good article and it supplied four classes which I can in theory use: Node;...

Hi, Zeus-Framework lately includes the implementation of graphs. A graph is a generous data structure to map networks, trees, lists etc. We want to use this implementation as a base for our neuronal networks. If you have any ideas how to extend and make it more complete, let me know :-) More informations about the graph theory you'll get here: http://www.xatlantis.ch/examples/graph_example.html

I need to represent the hyperlinks between a large number of HTML files as a graph. My non-directed graph will have about 63,000 nodes and and probably close to 500,000 edges. I have looked into igraph (http://cneurocvs.rmki.kfki.hu/igraph/doc/ python/index.html) and networkX (https://networkx.lanl.gov/wiki) for generating a file to store the graph, and I have also looked into Graphviz for visualization. I'm just not sure which modules...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
