Say I have the following datetime object:
>>> from datetime import datetime
>>> d = datetime(2005, 8, 10, 15, 43)
I happen to know this is a local time from the Netherlands, so I
assume the tzinfo (if it were present) should indicate Central European
Summer Time ("Summer" indicates daylight savings).
How do I convert this date/time information to UTC?

Hello,
I am hoping someone else has thought about a date time calculation i need to
perform.
I would like to be able to calculate the number of "working minutes" between
2 dates, given my working week definition.
Lets say I have a working week definition of Monday through Friday, 9 am to
5 pm.
Date1 = January 1st, 2005 at 8 am

Greetings,
I am attempting to take a number that is currently in minutes and turn it
into a string that will list the hours followed by minutes.
Some more examples:
"30" into "0h 30m"
"155 into "2h 35m"
"180 into "3h 0m"

Is it absolutely necessary to include "http://" in an A HREF hyperlink?
Would it be wise to remove this from one's Links page, just to save code?

1) From 2.4.2 documentation:
There are two new valid (semantic) forms for the raise statement:
raise Class, instance
raise instance
2) In python:
>>> raise NameError
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "<stdin>", line 1, in ?
NameError

After much wailing and gnashing of teeth the past couple of days, I managed
to move (most of?) the content from the MacPython wiki to the main Python
wiki (*). All pages were created as subpages of
http://wiki.python.or/moin/MacPython
The motivation for this rather hasty move was that the MacPython wiki was
running an ancient version of MoinMoin and got spammed heavily. Because of
its age and vulnerability it was simply too hard to...

Can anyone recommend a good online resource listing all C keywords,
standard system calls, defines etc in a "flat" hierarchy.
I wish to set up some bindings in order to bring up "hints and tips" on
using such keywords/functions from ISO C in an IDE I am working on. So I
would bring up a function and use the current word as the search
criteria to locate an online library/faq

You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...
