Hi all,
I have been struggling with a problem all day, I have been unable to come
up with a working solution.
I want to write a function which takes 2 unix timestamps and calculates
the difference. I want it to return the difference in years, months, days,
hours, minutes and seconds (a complete summary). Keeping into account of
course that these are 2 real dates, I dont want it to work with 30.475 as
an average number of days in a...

I want to use TimeSpan to determine the differences between two date to
include time. My input data is in the following format:
12/25/2004 12:23:00 AM or 01/05/2005 11:59:00 PM
How do I get TimeSpan to accept my input?
How do I get the difference between two dates using TimeSpan?
I want to have the results expressed in days, hours, minutes and seconds.

Hi,
I'm really sorry to post this as I know it must have been asked
countless times before, but I can't find an answer anywhere.
Does anyone have a snippet of JavaScript code I could borrow which
calculated the difference in years and days between two dates, and
takes leap years into account?
I'm calculating the difference in the usual way, i.e....

Hi,
I want to find the the exact difference between two dates in seconds through MySQL query.
Version: 4.1
Platform: Linux
Source code:
>select datediff('2007-01-09 10:24:46','2007-01-09 10:23:46')
The datediff() function has only two datetime parameters and returns the difference in days.Instead if i want the value to be returned in seconds, what is the possible way??

I'm looking for a way to calculate the number of days between two
dates using standard C++ functions.
Would it be as simple as just using the difftime() function and then
dividing that result by the number of seconds in a day?

Hello,
I have 2 time fields dynamically generated in format "m/d/y H:m".
Could someone show me a good function to calculate the time interval
difference in minutes? I played with strtotime() but but that only
gave me difference in hours and only if the times were on the same day
(after wrapping with date() function). TIA

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
