HI Folks,

I am trying to update a text field coulmn in a table with date data. The script is as follows:

gp.calculatefie ld_management(" ch_er_primary.s hp", "FINAL_CDT" , "FORMAT([FINAL_ACTI],""mm/dd/yyyy"")")

here the final_cdt : is string field and final_acti is date field.

The error I am getting:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "V:\data\tst\ad d_field.py", line 35, in ?
gp.calculatefie ld_management(" ch_er_primary.s hp", "FINAL_CDT" , "FORMAT([FINAL_ACTI],""mm/dd/yyyy"")")
File "<COMObject esriGeoprocessi ng.GpDispatch.1 >", line 2, in calculatefield_ management
com_error: (-2147467259, 'Unspecified error', None, None)

I really appreciate any help I could get on this problem.

However what used to happen was that once i updated one row, all of them were updated so i immediatelly figured out that i have to include the id of every entry in the update statement. This is where the problem is raised. My database is an Access database. The table i am updating contains a Date...

Our developers have experienced a problem with updating Web References in Visual Studio.NET 2003. Normally, when a web service class (.asmx) is created, updating the Web Reference will utilise the disco file to update the Corresponding proxy file and reflect the changes made to the web service. OK, hopefully somebody can help me out again. My next problem is updating 3 form fields (type list/menu option) that correspond to a date, one for month, one for day and one for year when the user selects a date for a javascript calendar solution. Introduction The reason I don’t want to use a text field, is because the website I’m developing is in Spanish and as you probably know, the Spanish format for the dates is dd/mm/yy, but I just...

Thanks, it worked. Another problem: Hey folks, where is the bug in this code? When updating the date field, it is updating all the records in the table with the same value (e.g. 2008-01-07) instead of incrementing the day by one in each record. $schedule=position_courses($time_of_day); $x=0; $z=0; $temp=0; //getting the initial date $date=set_date(7,1,2008,true); foreach($schedule as...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
