Scapy Port to Windows

Hello Everyone

I'm just writing to inform the newsgroup or anyone who is interested. I
have some what of a working copy of scapy, ported to Windows, based on
the notes provided on the scapy mailing list

for reference
http://www.secdev.org/projects/scapy/

(scapy windows) for python version 24
http://www.techshinobi.de/software/scapyandpack.zip

(scapy windows) for python version 23
http://www.techshinobi.de/software/pyscapy23.zip

however my testing and skill with this application is limited. Ive been
trying to get this src code to work with it: >>>
www.techshinobi.de/software/IPFreelysrc.zip

and it has been successful

Please note I am not really a good programmer I have a small - medium
knowledge of programming (compared to some of you guys)

If anyone is interested in assisting with a full working version of
scapy on windows, I believe it would be very beneficial to the growth of
the scapy project

Thank You in Advance

Cheers

Andrew :)

I'd like to write a simple application that interfaces with the parallel port, and changes the data on it according to keyboard input. I hope I can get it to run under windows xp and / or windows 2000. How can I do this? What do I need to know? It doesn't look like the standard library (the one under my pillow) has that feature. In addition, I've heard that with newer versions of windows don't let you communicate with the port directly,...

I am interested in using libdnet with Python, how can I go about "installing" it on windows? http://libdnet.sourceforge.net/ Ultimately, I would like to get Scapy (http://www.secdev.org/projects/scapy/) running on windows...currently it is a *nix app written in Python, so I think I should be able to get it to work on Windows, just need some help I guess.

I have been told it is not possible to access the serial ports from asp.net. The application is used to control custom hardware. The hardware is connected to a PC through serial ports. Our customer wants to control the hardware from a remote...

I am looking for a small program or two that allows me to see what is being sent to a device on the serial port, and the response coming in the serial port from the device. When I have COM1 open, it seems that the program I made don't work because they need a COM port to themselves?? I always get error messages saying something like "unable to open com port" when it's already open.........

I have an installation of scapy on OS X (via macports) and I am trying to determine if it was successful or not. Nothing I do on the network seems to work completely, but on the other hand the installation didn't seem to have run into any trouble so I want to be sure. What test can I do to determine beyond a doubt whether this was a successful installation? I tried pscan.py, which was taken from ...

I have macpython 2.5 installed, but I cant seem to get scapy installed. I have downloaded scapy.py, and put it in site-packages, for both my /Library/Python/2.5/site-packages and the one located in / System. Scapy fails to import. Is there another site-packages? Or a better way to install it? I am running OS X 10.5, on an intel mac. Cheers

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
