building pyParallel in Fedora Core 5 Linux

Hi,

Perhaps this is not the right forum to post this, but I am having
trouble installing pyParallel. When I try to do the usual "python
setup.py build" or "python setup.py install", I get the following
errors. My platform is a very nearly freshly install Fedora Core 5
Linux machine. Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks!

$ python setup.py build

Several people asked me for the following HOWTO, so I decided to post it here (though it is still very 'alpha' and might contain many (?) mistakes; didn't test what I wrote, but wrote it - more or less - during my own installation of Python 2.3 on Fedora Core 1 Linux for a friend of mine). Anyway, HTH, L.

Hi guys, Has anyone installed wxPython on Fedora Core 4. Apparently it need the libstdc++.so.5 file while Fedora installs the newer libstdc++.so.6 file. I tried installing the libstdc rpm from fedora core 3 which would have installed the required file but Fedora does not allow multiple versions of the same file . Man this is frustrating. Help desparately required..........

According to docs coming with the postgresql stuff on Linux for Fedora Core 2, pgaccess was moved into the tcl PostgreSQL package. Unfortunately, it seems that it was removed from one package and never added back in to the tcl or contrib packages. If I go to rpmfind.net I don't see any Redhat or Fedora rpms. Can anyone tell me if rpm format for Fedora Core 2 is available? Or if I have to go with the tarball? D. Stimits, stimits AT...

Install IBM DB2 on Fedora Core 5 (Bordeaux) author: maluyao RHCE. maluyao@NOSPAMgmail.com(remove NOSPAM) http://www.teenblog.org/tiantian/ (Chinese Version) Pre-installation notes: Disable selinux is recommended. In the official document, pdksh should be installed. In Fedora Core 5, pdksh package is replaced by zsh package. So you need to install it .

I'm trying to get mysql working on Fedora Core 4. Actually trying to start the program mysqld without fatal errors. I posted this message first on the linux misc group - but no luck so far. Maybe people on this group can help me out. Sorry about posting to two groups. The reference manual for mysql ver 4.1 is huge, it's over 1900 pages! I've tried all day but now I have to ask for help from people more experienced then me. Anyway, this is...

Hi guys. So, I got it into my head this morning that I needed a Linux HTTP server. Naturally that means installing Apache with PHP and last but not least, MySQL. I decided to use Fedora Code 6, but after an hour of downloading I decided I wanted this to happen sometime this year, so I dug up an old set of Fedora Core 4 cd's and installed that. Now, after installing Fedora Core 4, which included everything I needed for my server, I...

Hello, I'm trying to package my python program into a linux executable using cx_freeze. The goal is that the user should require python on their system. I've managed to make the binaries on Fedora Core 6 and they run fine. However, when I move to Ubuntu (tested on Ubuntu Server 7.04 and xUbuntu Desktop 7.04), the program fails to run with the following error:

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...
