Filling Forms ( What is the best way to Print on Forms)

Please advice: I have some DMV forms that I would like to print on to
fill the answers, is there any good software to do this with? Any free
software to do this? I need to align it so the prints go on the
designated response areas!

Thanks a Million!

Take a look at www.reportlab.org - the open source toolkit should do
what you want.

Hello. I am looking for advice on what is "best practice" regarding looping through a form to check its checkboxes and associated data fields. Here is what I am trying to do (Here is the page I am working on: http://www3.telus.net/thothworks/LinLeastSqPoly4.html). I provide a form for a user to enter up to twenty (M = 20) data pairs. The user need not enter data for all twenty pairs, but the user must indicate that data is present by...

Hello, I am working on a website which uses forms to fill in a few answers to questions. Does anybody know a javascript that prints only the answers (i.e. the forms) and not the whole page? I am asking this because printing the whole page takes 3 pieces of paper, whilst printing only the answers will only take one. Thank you.

My company is moving from PowerBuilder to .NET and we are split on if we should use web forms or win forms for our LAN apps. The developers want to do web forms but management is leaning towards win forms I would like to present a pro/con argument to everyone and was hoping someone could put to articles or resources where this issue is discussed Thanks.

Hello, I have a localization class that I want to use from either Web or Windows Forms apps. Currently it stores some information in the HttpRuntime.Cache object. I want to be able to determine the current context in which the class is called. If it is called through ASP.NET, I want it to use the HttpRuntime, but if it is called through Windows Forms app, I want it to use a private static Hashtable. What is the best way for an object...

Hi there, The project that I'm working on is a securty piece of n-tier applications which try to authenticate a user. The login page, either a web form or windows form, calls a web service (thin layer) that actually evoke a business object to authenticate user. In the internet application after the user credentials are verified, the user id is saved in cookies so it can be referred later by the business class using httpcontext. I would...

I've developed an ERP application that we use internally and works quite well. I receiving more and more requests from users to print various transactions, order forms, search results, etc. I haven't decided what the best way to do this is because I don't have much experience with generating printable forms. Early on I knew one of my modules would need to print a clear report so I used the open source SharpPDF library to generate the...

Hi, We're creating a winform application, and I'd like to print out the actual forms from within VS2005 without having to Build and run the code. Short of making screenshots and cropping out the actual form, is there any freeware or built-in tool to do this task? Thanks -- Alex

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
