Hello all, Iâ€™m looking for some general information about sharing the session but havenâ€™t found any resources that confirm my conceptions. All the discusisons about sharing the session revolve around services and SQL It appears possible to run multiple servers off one servers InProc provided the stateConnectionString is configured properly, true? Also it appears if InProc is used, data does not need to be serialiazble, true?

HttpModule gets InProc Session_Start, not Session_End

I have an HttpModule that gets the SessionStateModule and registers for the Start and End events. Global receives both Start and End events (both timeout and when Session.Abandon() is called), but my module receives only the Start event. SessionMode is InProc. Commenting out Global's Session_End() does not have any effect. Does anyone know why Session_End() is not called?

web service running on same thread

Hi, I have 2 web services (WS1 and WS2). The sessionstate of WS1 is InProc and the sessionState of WS2 is Off. WS1 is calling a web method on WS2 from 2 different threads (i.e. WS1 triggered from 2 different sessions on different browsers) simultaneously. However, the called web method on WS2 is running on the same thread. Is it possible to make the web method on WS2 to run on different threads? thanks.
