Hi All,
I am trying to share the session between classic ASP and
ASP.Net application. For session sharing I used the
method available on this link:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?
url=/library/en-us/dnaspp/html/ConvertToASPNET.asp
I would like to know if this method works in Web Farm
Scenario also.

I realized that when SqlServer mode is used for session management
Session_End event is not fired in global.asax.
What can I do if I want to do something when a user's session end?
Thanks

Hello,
I am currently deploying an ASP .NET based web application via Visual
Studio 2005 (so I am using .NET 2.0 technology). The two questions I have
are with regards to session state in ASP.NET. The first one is how secure is
keeping login information in sessionstate using the inproc model and a cookie
configuration? The second question...

Hello,
This is a follow-up to my earlier post about having issues with our
application pool recycling. We currently use Session State InProc, but if I
were to choose to move the existing application to SQL instead, would the
only change in the application be the SessionState setting within
web.config? I know I'd also need to setup our MS...

in a configuration file or in the page directive. Please also make sure that
System.Web.SessionStateModule or a custom session state module is included in

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then...

I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.

I succeeded, with both firewalls in...
