Setting wrap mode in wxStyledTextCtr l will significantly make the performance down

Hi,

I want to use the wxStyledTextCtr l to open a huge ascii file, see almost
10MB.
After I set the wrap mode, i.e. set to wxSTC_WRAP_WORD , the open and resize
of the
wxStyledTextCtr l will be much slow.

Any idea to resolve this issue?

Thanks,
J.R.

Hello, Is it normal for plain VACUUM on large table to degrade performance by over 9 times? My database becomes unusable when VACUUM runs. From reading newsgroups, I thought VACUUM should only slow down by 10% to 15%. Other MVCC databases like MySQL InnoDB can even VACUUM discretely (runs internally). Is it my Linux system or is it...

All the documentation says that leaving an ASP.NET application in debug mode has a big performance hit. I can't detect any difference between debug and non-debug modes. Am I missing something or is the documentation wrong? I've been load testing an ASP.NET website (built in VS.NET 2003 in C#). I've used the ACT to generate heavy loads...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...
