Clicking a button on an web page.

I have read through the tutorials for Python and looked at the web
related stuff. Unfortunately, the tutorials only mention how to use
scripts locally and the web related stuff, well that's local too.

How should I go about writing a script that will simply click a button
on a web page at an interval? For example, if you're familiar with
Neopets, I'd like to click the Collect Interest button around 1am
everyday. :)

Submit button already appears but you don't want your users to click on it prematurely because other parts are still coming. We need to stop students from clicking on the form button more than once. We have a form that students fill out with their credit card information. They click, the form sends the data in xml to Bank of America, theres a short wait, BofA sends back some xml, and on to the next page. Sometimes, though, BofA is slow and the students get...

My site's login page has a form w/ 2 textboxes and a submit button. If I'm in either of those textboxes (i.e., either one of the textboxes has focus), in any given browser, hitting "enter" on my keyboard submits the form. Server side, I handle the click event of the submit button. This is the expected behavior, and this is the behavior...

Hi, I have created a very simple ASP.NET application which has a couple of ImageButtons which go to different SQL reports on clicking them. I have used Response.Redirect to send the user to the SQL reports. Now after viewing the report when I hit the Baxk Button on my browser. and then I click the image buttons, nothing happens. Any...

I'm posting this again because I did not explain myself well the first time, so the problem was not being addressed. I made the following page ( http://perla.princeton.edu/counselors/organization.php ) solely for the purpose of showing a bug. It is not production code, it is a test, made for testing, so style really doesn't matter. This...

Hello, I hope I can explain this properly. I'm writing an application with a tabbed-based navigation, and a form which gets filled out by users will be split into 5 subtabs. What I need is instead of the user needing to hit a SUBMIT button each time the form within a tab is complete (Before clicking the next tab), I want clicking any tab...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then...
