Hi,
does anyone know how to change the foreground color of the command
prompt through python?
For example if i was printing out an error message, I would like it to
be red where the normal text color is white.

i have a ansi.py file that i use in LINUX to change the text color to
STDOUT when i use the "print" function...but when i move this ansi.py
file over the windows...it does not work
is there a version of ansi.py i can use for windows/linux....

I have a console application (ssh2.exe) that requires keystrokes to be sent
to it after activating.
I have worked that it needs to be started in it own thread, but capturing
the process and sending the keystrokes escapes me at the moment.
Is there any material online that describes the process of sending
keystrokes to a console app?

I am working on a little app which uses colour in the console window. I have
created a class to extend the console functionality but the ClearScreen
method does not work correctly. I am enclosing a complete project
to show what happens. If anybody has an idea of how to fix
this, please let me know.
Yes I am aware that this is all in .Net 2.

OK, this is driving me crazy! As far as I can tell it should work. It
compiles fine.
I am saving the fore and back colour of a RTB to the registry like
this:
Srx.SetValue("ForeColour", Console.ForeColor.ToArgb.ToString)

Hello, I'm a bit stuck trying to convert a text file which contains
extended ASCII text and changing the ASCII values so they become
readable. I do this by subtracting 127 from the ASCII value. However, at
the moment I am just getting more gibberish so I'm probably doing
something wrong. I tried using ASCII Encoding before to get the ASCII
values. Although this worked for 0-127 ASCII values, extended ASCII gave

I'm parsing a chunk of XML code and would like to add attribute values
to individual tags if these are lacking. This is with perl 5.8.6,
libxml2 2.6.17, XML::LibXML 1.58.
Basically, I have the parser add the attribute values to the respective

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
