Hello all,
I am writing a script where I need to use the system() function to call
htpasswd. I can do this just fine on the command line...works great
(see attached file, test.php). When my webserver runs that part of the
script (see attached file, snippet.php), though, it doesn't go through.
I don't get an error message or anything...it just returns a "1"
(whereas it should return a "0") as far as I can tell. I have read the

I am trying to check performance in out database but I seem to be
missing something. I try to run :
select relname, idx_tup_fetch + seq_tup_read as total from
pg_stat_all_tables
but all the tables have total = 0, shouldn't these be numbers > 0?
And shouldn't there be views like pg_statio and pg_stat? (they do not
exist in my database...)

Hi all,
Following up on another thread, here is a comparison between FB and PG
from an FB'ers POV. BTW, FB is the love-child of Open-Source-Interbase.
BTW, I have tried to be as accurate as I can with the information
available to me at this point in time - I was unable to find anything
resembling a feature list on the FB site, so most of this is from
memory. I do have an email account on the various lists on that site,

I'm trying to call the Microsoft image-processing function AlphaBlend() in my
Visual C++ application. My software compiles okay, but gets a link error
(details below) that says it cannot find the symbol AlphaBlend().
I'm calling dozens of other Microsoft bitmap and imagery functions without
error.
The MS documentation says that AlphaBlend is in msimg32.dll. I have this
file, in folder C:\Windows\System32.
