I have 30 - 40 type of different window.
For each type I need about 20 instances of the window.
When I try to create them, I get "Error creating window handle"
My guess is there is a maximum number of window handle, because if I reduce
to about 2 instances of each window,
it can run. But not 20 instances of each window.
Does anyone know what the problem is? is it really because it exceeds the
maximum number of window handle?

Hello
I'm using A97 and i'm having some trouble with creating a recordset
with data from two different databases.
I connect to a remote database and make this data the default source
for my continuous form (Set me.recordset = rs). The problem is: one of
the fields of the remote database is a foreign key (two digit number),
and the table with the correspondence is in my local database... i
have no way of altering the remote database....

I'm having some difficulty creating a report in Access and I need some
suggestions. My company issues "Return Authorizations" when customers
need to return products. A customer calls in and we provide the
number. The customer then returns items for a refund or for an
exchange. Here is the basic set up of the tables in question.
-ReturnAuthorizationTable-
ReturnNumber_PK

I have been having endless difficulty creating reports/queries that
set any relevent parameters from controls in forms.
I am creating an application under access 2003 but will target access
2000. The access file is in access 2000 format.
I have a form that will hold the relevent parameters for the
query/report that reports the statistics for all job records that
match a certain criteria. These are:
- A Customer Name.

The Help examples for creating a Registry subkey uses double backslashes
between subkeys.
The examples for creating a folder use a single backslash.
First: Am I right in that double backslashes are indeed needed with Registry
methods?
Second:Am I right in that single backslashes are indeed needed with folder
descriptions?

Hi,
I'm creating a CMS that I would like to be plug-in based with different
plugins handling different kinds of content.
What I really want is to be able to load/unload plugins on the fly
without restarting the application.
What I did was to create an AppDomain that loaded the plugins and
everything was great, until I tried to pass something else that strings
between the domains...

I am having a problem saving an image with the same name it originally had. I have two similar versions of my code, one in which I close the FileStream used to open the original image before saving, the other in which I close the FileStream afterwards, although both return the same error. Here are the two versions of the code and the errors they each return (NOTE: I rebooted immediately before running each of these versions so that I knew they...

I've been pretty infatuated with JSON for some time now since
"discovering" it a while back. (It's been there all along in
JavaScript, but it was just never "noticed" or used by most until
recently -- or maybe I should just speak for myself.)
The fact that JSON is more elegant goes without saying, yet I can't
seem to find a way to use JSON the way I *really* want to use it: to
create objects that can be instantated into multiple...

Hello,
I'm currently in the process of creating a small access database and I'm having some problems with creating a customized search. I would like the user to be able to search a record by last name or street address. I have two questions:
1. I am currently using the built in "find and replace" dialog box, which works fine for the most part, but I need to be able to add some code to make the search more customized. I'm new to access, so...

Let me see if this question even makes sense...I'm reading Core Python
Programming and I jumped ahead to the more specific topics like network
programming. I plan to follow along with the example in that chapter and
create a socket connection between my desktop and laptop.
However, these two computers are already connected on my home network
(using the Windows Network Setup Wizard), so I was wondering if this
will have any effect on what...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.
He will explain when you may want to use classes instead of User Defined Types (UDT). For example, to manage the data in unbound forms.
Adolph will...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
