XML Schemas Question

Hello!

Simple Yes/No question (i hope):

If i have an XML document that refers to a schema, such as:

<?xml .... ?>
<Claims xmlns="www.example.org/claims"
xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-Instance"
xsi:schemaLocation='http://www.example.org claims.xsd'>
etc
</Claims>

will PHP automatically validate this document against its schema on load?
all evidence i have suggests: FALSE. I.e. I still have to call
DOMDocument->schemaValidate() (well, in PHP5 at least).

am i correct?

you wanna share the magical search you executed to get the answer to this?
cuz i've been searching google for a bit on this, and while i've found many
pages related to queries, none of which answer this question.
