Hi, I have written a simple program in VB.NET which can fax a Tiff
image to the Fax Printer connected via fax modem automatically. But
few steps are missing, which is the conversion of DOC or PDF (the
input file format) to TIF format, can anyone help!!!

Hello,
I am trying to write a text on Multi-page TIFF image using C# and .NET
GDI+. I have written following code to do this. When I execute this code I
get "Invalid Parameter User. at System.Drawing.Image.Save" error.

I need to convert various document types (xls, doc, pdf, ..) to TIFF format.
Then TIFF file is going to be faxed so there is some restriction on
resolution/dpi i can use.
There are plenty of solutions on internet but when i tested couple it
produced pretty bad faxes.
1. Can anyone recommend something, which gives good quality. (I do not mind
if it cost money).

Nothing fancy, I just want a control to display PDF and TIFF files in VB, and
perhaps let me zoom in and out of the image and scroll around.
I don't need to edit or do anything complex, just view the stuff. Surely
there is a built-in (i.e. FREE) control that will let me do this?
I am aware of the Acrobat Viewer control that you get when you install
Acrobat Viewer on your PC, but it doesn't cope with TIFFs.

I have installed PIL 1.1.5 on Windows with Python 2.4. I'm unable to open .tiff
images that I can open and view using Windows Explorer. In other words, this
simple test fails:

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
