Automatic "New Page" When product list is too long

I'm data-basing products for a local manufacturing company (I've been designing their entire website). Can I write PHP so that I set the limit of products visible per page, and then if the number of products exceeds that limit, it automatically generates another page?

'Course you can, pal.

What you're thinking of is done quite commonly, actually, on sites like google where they give you so many items and then a section of links at the bottom going to the next page. It's called pagination.

@Markus
Before you know it, I'll be designing my own search engine. I'll give it a clever name... something that will stick...
I'll call it Booble.

Err uhh... hmmm...

I'm using Windows 2000 Pro SP4 and Office 2000 Pro Sp3. I have some dynamic database pages that I do not want a user to see from their local cache of pervious visits to this page. When these individual pages are called, I would always want them refreshed from the server. This is no matter what setting is used by the local browser. The...

For a class, MyClass, there are two ways to instantiate an object: 1. MyClass *MC = new MyClass(); 2. MyClass MC; In general, when should you have to use 1 and when 2? What're advantages/disadvantages of using either? Thanks!

Is it right thing to always avoid using "new" to create objects? What if after starting the application, then decide which and how many objects to create? (Seems like under such situation is there no other choice but using "new")

I need to place a "Previous Page" link on every page within my site and a simple javascript:history.back() will not work because I need it to capture the state of the page when I left it. For example, if I have a page with some date controls so I can choose a date range and postback the page. It then displays results based on that date...

I followed a link to James Kanze's web site in another thread and was surprised to read this comment by a link to a GC: "I can't imagine writing C++ without it" How many of you c.l.c++'ers use one, and in what percentage of your projects is one used? I have never used one in personal or professional C++ programming. Am I a holdover to...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not.
