Re: CENTOS, Apache & PHP

I have run out of space on a disk which houses a website written in PHP.

I created a symbolic link to another disk in the file system pointed to

I can serve up a regular web page from the
linked directory through the apache server.

However when I try and serve up a php page, I get no error, but do get

It's nothing to do with the distribution you're running.

What the PHP actually does is irrelevant bar the fact that the page
you are testing with is far too complex. Try again with a "hello
world" program and proceed from there.

Not really a Python question, but I thought some on this list may be able to answer.... so here goes: I have several machines on which I must install CentOS. There are many updates to CentOS and it's very time consuming to do the updates over the network. I have a local copy of all of the updated rpms. Would it be reasonable to do something like this to upgrade them locally and more quickly than over the network??? updated_rpms =

Will placing Apache::RequestRec & Apache::RequestIO & APR::Table in startup.pl to load them up for multiple handlers have any bad side effects? I noticed that when I load them via startup.pl the handlers that use them don't complain that they don't have the use statements within the module code and still work as normal. Jamie Krasnoo --

Hello, I've didn't find any answer to my problem so I start a new topic. I have installed Apache 1.3.33 on Windows XP. I've also downloaded and installed ActivePython form http://www.activestate.com/. Then I went to http://www.modpython.org/ and search how to use python script with my web pages. I've tried all the version of mod_python under 2.7.11. As I'm under Windows XP, I can only install

I have a new server running CentOS 5.1. I was surprised the stock PHP excludes MySQL, PDO and a bunch of other popular modules. I decided to download the source and compile a version with the modules I need but I used the phpinfo() configure option and modified my changes. What I don't get is stock configure (no changes) won't compile on my box. For example in the configure is --with-apxs2=/usr/ sbin/apxs'. I don't even have that...

I have run out of space on a disk which houses a website written in PHP. I created a symbolic link to another disk in the file system pointed to by the IP address which I was able to navigate through a putty window, but I couldn't navigate it through ftp. I managed to adjust setup files for ftp and get past that and to adjust apache setup files so that I can serve up a regular web page from the linked directory through the apache...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
