Windows & Apache 1.3 & mod_python.dll

Hello, I've didn't find any answer to my problem so I start a new
topic.

I have installed Apache 1.3.33 on Windows XP.
I've also downloaded and installed ActivePython form
http://www.activestate.com/.

Then I went to http://www.modpython.org/ and search how to use python
script with my web pages. I've tried all the version of mod_python
under 2.7.11. As I'm under Windows XP, I can only install
mod_python.dll and I've done what is here
http://www.modpython.org/live/mod_py...p-wininst.html

So now my problem is that when I start my Apache server I get this
error :
"cannot load c:/easy-php1-8/apache/module/mod_python.dll into server :
(126) ..."

Do you have any solution or do you know a .dll ou a .so file that work
?
Thank for your help.

Any particular reason for not using Apache 2, and mod_python 3.x?

Anyways, looks to me like there's a problem with the path where the DLL
is installed, vs. where it's search for by Apache?

I had no particular problems installing Apache 2 and mod_python 3.x on
WinXP, using the mod_python installer.

Sorry, but that's best I can offer!

Hi, I realize that this is somewhat vague, but I'm not really sure what to do next. I'm trying to get Apache and mod_python set up on my windows XP box for testing purposes. I installed the Apache 2.0.48 windows binaries using the Apache installer, tested it and it worked fine. I then installed the mod_python 3.0.4 windows binaries using the installer which correctly found my ActiveState Python 2.2 installation and the aforementioned...

In regards to mod_python, I keep getting this warning when I do apachectl configtest: Loaded DSO libexec/mod_python.so uses plain Apache 1.3 API, this module might crash under EAPI! (please recompile it with -DEAPI) So I googled what I can, and have read various responses. Most say you just need to recompile the module with the DEAPI flag. I was getting the same message for mod_php, and fixed that. However, with the same config...

My mod_python 3.1.4 installation works when Apache 2.0.54 is run in standalone mode (apache -k standalone) but refuses to operate when run as a service (apache -k restart). Logs yield the usual and well-known "make_obcallback: could not import mod_python.apache" error. I have tried PYTHONHOME, LoadFile python24.dll (2.4.2) with no result. I have read *all* threads about make_obcallback that google found. What's even weirder I had this...

I've mod_php installed with Apache 2.2. In one of my folders, I'm using the cgihandler as the PythonHandler as my target host runs python only as CGI. Here cgi.FieldStorage() doesn't seem to work. I can see the form data in sys.stdin but cgi.FieldStorage() returns an empty dictionary. Here's the code for the test script I am posting to - -- #!/usr/bin/python

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
