i have heard Bout Xdebug that helps telling imformation about code coverage
ie how much PHP code is covered during the compilation and run time
This code coverage feature is very useful in testing
Coz only if all the code is covered including each if and else then testing a Unit is gud
if some part of code is not covered then u need to have more test cases to run or else the code that is not being covered is useless

Hi,
Does anyone know how to exclude certain files from a remote xdebug
session? I am only interested in one file but every file involved in
generating the page is included in the debug session which makes it
very slow going.

I've created the following function for returning only ini keys that
pertain to xdebug. I'm wondering how I might go about doing the same
sort of thing with one or more of the various "array_" functions
instead (e.g. array_filter). Since I'm working with xdebug (if you
can't tell ;) I'll respond in kind with trace data comparing the
functions.

I have installed (in Windows XP) Apache, PHP5, XDebug and Eclipse PDT. Then
I configured XDebugging according to:

The problem is that although after pressing Run | Debug debugging starts (in
browser), Eclipse does not stop at breakpoints (it looks like breakpoints
are ignored).

I am learning PHP5 in Fedora Linux. I use Quanta+ 3.5. I have written a
program that I would like to debug but I don't see Debug menu. Is it
possible to debug program somehow? I know that Eclipse PDT has debugging
but I prefer Quanta+ because it's fast. Is there any external debugger I
could use? If not, how can I find bugs? I have read about var_dump(). What
functions could I use?

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
