Humans often see these - shouldn't they be more human readable?

Hi All,
I've just started writing PHP scripts. I was wondering whether there was
any sensible debugging facilities that I'm not aware of. Basically, my usual
development procedure involves writing the script and then testing using IE.
However, it appears that unless the PHP is perfect (ie. devoid of any
syntactical errors) then nothing at all is output to the browser. Personally
I find this very frustrating as there's no clue as to where...

(gnu debugger)
I'm using the mingw compiler in a windows environment. As development
environment I use eclipse with the CDT plugin. This plugin also has a
nice GUI frontend for the GDB.
I've already tried several setups, no setup seemed to work.

hi all,
debugging PHP applications interactively is possible, easy and free. I
am talking about PHPEclipse and using it for debugging over several
scripts or debugging through a session. Since I have wasted a lot of
time writing echo statements all over the code in order to confirm
program flow and watch variables, I feel I must share this with others
who will be facing similar problems.

I am back against the wall trying to migrate my multithreaded
application from Python 2.3 to 2.5. The part of the code that's
failing has to do with queues (2.3 queues and 2.5 queues are not the
same). Since WingIDE doesn't support multithread debugging (they've
been saying that one day they might support that - and that was 2003),
I am starting to look for alternatives.

I've created the following function for returning only ini keys that
pertain to xdebug. I'm wondering how I might go about doing the same
sort of thing with one or more of the various "array_" functions
instead (e.g. array_filter). Since I'm working with xdebug (if you
can't tell ;) I'll respond in kind with trace data comparing the
functions.

I am learning PHP5 in Fedora Linux. I use Quanta+ 3.5. I have written a
program that I would like to debug but I don't see Debug menu. Is it
possible to debug program somehow? I know that Eclipse PDT has debugging
but I prefer Quanta+ because it's fast. Is there any external debugger I
could use? If not, how can I find bugs? I have read about var_dump(). What
