Hello,

I am trying to learn how to install a php classified ads page. I have
downloaded Codegirl Classifieds, Geoauctions Lite, Almond Classifieds and a
few others. I read all the read me files but they don't make much sense.
Can any one point me in the right direction to start to understand how this
all works. I do know some HTML. Any help would be appreciated. TIA

You are going to have to learn a little PHP and MySQL, many of the programs
have pretty basic setups, most of the config scripts need to know how your
MYSQL database password and account you are using and maybe some other
bits. Go to the book store and look for "PHP in Easy Steps" (probably rthe
quickest tutorial you'l find though not very Linux oriented) or maybe
Visual Quickstart Guide to PHP & MySQL. Do your homework and things will
be alot easier.

what do you need to know about??
you have downloaded some script fromsite and I suppose you can put them on a
php supported server and install it ...and it should work smoothly~
