making classified ads website

Hi all,

Just wondering how to make a classifieds ads website using PHP. I'm
thinking it'd be much easier to use CMS such as Joomla to create
something complicated like this rather than coding from scratch. The
site will have login features, search features, ad listings for
selling and buying, ads for personals and cars, send emails to friend
features. Does this site look too big? It's smaller than ebay, of
course. So do you think it's better to code from scratch or use CMS
such as Joomla/ Mambo? What are your thoughts? What would you choose
and why?

I would use Joomla/Mambo and I would probably just use (or possibly
modify) one of the many existing classified ads components that have
alerady been written for it.
This is because I am experienced with mambo/joomla and because using
an existing component meanse that all/most of the work has already
been done for me.

I'm having majour issues with FrontPage 2K and a webpage that I am having to create from scratch based on someone else's prior work. I hope someone can look at the source code for the page in question and tell me where my code is going wrong that I am getting things to load incorrectly. The situation is this: The owner wants "picture pages" that can be printed out exactly as fliers and pages that were created for print years ago. ...

Greetings, I have have been working for almost 18 months on a set of WebControls where some are similar to the ASP.NET standard and well-enhanced while other controls are completely new and interesting. All my controls are implemented from scratch (in VB.NET). Some are C#, er I plan to have a second copy. I'm more productive in VB.NET (mainly because of the better intellisense support -- yes, I rely on it because I don't remember...

I am creating a hash check for an item on a classified network. The FIPS has to be enabled and everytime my software runs I get this error : "System.InvalidOperationException: This implementation is not part of the Windows Platform FIPS validated cryptographic algorithms. " I used System.Security.Cryptography.MD5CryptoServiceProvider. What is the easiest way for me to get this to work? Thanks In advance

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development projectplanning, coding, testing, and deploymentwithout human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers.
