Hey,
We are in the process of rewriting our internal management system (which was
written in PHP4), and figured this would be a good time to migrate to PHP5
to get all the OO goodness it has to offer :) I am running php 5.0.3 on
apache 1.3.something under slackware linux.
Unfortunately I frequently get segfaults from php scripts, and they...

I have been trying to compile PHP with JAVA support for the past week,
and all I have left to do is take a noose and hang myself. Of all the
articles, tutorials, posts that I have seen and browsed ( none of them
on PHP5+ though ), all of them speak of a libphp_java.so/java.so file...

I'm starting a database/web interface project, using Linux and postgresql.
I've programmed in PHP4 in the past, and for this new project am unsure
whether to use PHP4 or PHP5.
My main concerns are stability and security.
What are the pros/cons/issues for PHP4/PHP5 with apache (either 1.3 or 2)?
TIA,

After having worked with Apache/MySQL/PHP for a year or so under Linux I
need, purely for convenience, to set up a parallel platform under Windows.
Unfortunately, since I last did this (using Windows XP Pro) I've moved
on to Windows Vista (Home Premium). MySQL and Apache2 have both
installed satisfactorily, but I'm having problems with PHP5....

The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then...
