I changed my POST to GET and find appended to the url, the above string.
Why and what can I do to NOT have them appended?
Thanks.
If the URL appends "submit=sub mit" that means you have a named submit
button. If you take away the name="submit" part out of <input type="submit"
name="submit" value="submit"> , "submit=sub mit" will not show up in the URL.
However if you're using <input type="image" ...>, the browser automatically
adds two parameters when the form is submitted. Those two are
[submit_button_n ame].x and [submit_button_n ame].y. These parameters show the
(x,y) location of the user's mouse cursor when s/he clicked the submit
button image. Again, I'm pretty sure you can take away the name="submit"
attribute of the <input type="image"> tag and eliminate the problem.
