If the gifts are physical, then just look for duplicated (or too similar)
addresses.

Hi there,
Working on the PHP DB I took over I have just come across a problem. When
the user presses refresh in some circumstances the command they just
performed will be re-performed. In some cases this is very undesirable.
Further example:
There is a PHP page in my web application that has a text box and the
ability to add a note to the account the user is currently viewing. When the

How do I prevent SQL Server 2000 from posting successful backup
completion messages to the Windows 2000 Application Event Log?
I have scheduled jobs which backup my transaction logs on 50+ databases

completion.
Due to the frequency of the jobs it only takes a day for the
Application Log to fill up, which is causing other jobs to get hung up

I have a form frmEditAdminData.
Its AllowAdditions property is set to No. I thought this meant
the form could not be opened in a manner that allowed the
appending of new records to its source table. But that is
untrue. I open the form from code this way:
DoCmd.OpenForm "frmEditAdminData", , , , acFormEdit

Hi,
I am getting HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Errors when I try to create a new
ASP.NET Web Service or ASP.NET Web Application. I have been able to create
these in the past and my previous ones can still be opened, so I suspect I
have done something to mess up my security configuration or settings.
I am using Visual Studio 2003 on a Windows 2000 Server running IIS 5.
Thanks for any help to resolve this problem.

Hi All,
Sorry to crosspost but it's a security and an ASP.NET problem I have.
We run each website site under it's own I_<user> account and ASP.NET is
configured to impersonate so requests run under the identity of the
I_<user> account.
In windows 2000 server how do I prevent a user from calling
RevertToSelf() in advapi32.dll and unwinding the impersonation? e.g.

I've searched google intensely on this topic and it seems noone really knows how to approch this.
The goal I don't want clients to give out their usernames and passwords to friends, since the site
relies on subscrption fees.
Sessions ID's are matched between the browser and the server. So a users can login with same
username and password and those sessions are tracked individually.
Some suggest create table fields with the session ID...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
