Hello,
we have linux , mysql 5.0 with php scripts.
Yestarday evening we changed the parameters in worker MPM to 100 from the default 256 and increased the key_buffer_size to 48M from 8M.
The number of failed attempts have increased when I see in the console.
When we hit the webpages , it throws an error " typo 3 Database Error The username , password or host was not accepted when the connection to the database was attempted or established "
But when we hit refresh immediately it loads.
Is there a chance this happens due to slow network.
Wondering what I have to do..
Any help please.

I would like to setup a form that will log the users logging in to a
db. The form and the Db will currently log the users if they complete
the logon and get in. It will then log the entry, but not if they
fail to login. If they fail I would like it to log the attempted pass

I have a typical front end/back end access app. Additionally a vb.net app
accesses the backend mdb file every few minutes and runs insert and update
queries on some table. The data to be inserted and updated is coming from a
remote db. The mdb file size is normally around 80MB but since running the
