Looking for help on what is probably a simple task

I am working to make a page that displays the status of servers from a
game. I have the php files that print out which servers are online,
and if I go to where the file is hosted it displays all of the servers
that are available, but how do I integrate that information into an
html file? I've tried various resources and decided to turn here.

Thanks for your help and sorry for being new to php.

You shouldn't be sorry for being new to php, you should be sorry for
asking "I don't know anything about php and php programming, please
help build a site/page" instead of asking google for php tutorials.

Of course, some fool here will want to help you and will write the
whole
script down for you, which will just draw more people in need of jobs
done
for nothing.

Have a nice day and read more

Calm down. I looked around for resources on how to do this. I wasn't
asking for the whole script, I was simply asking for someone to point
me in the right direction. If you aren't going to post anything
helpful, please don't post anything at all.

how are the 'php files' invoked?

I really cannot picture what you are talking about.
Thanks for your help and sorry for being new to php.
First step to solving any problem is to describe it accurately, clearly
and unambiguously. Being sorry is a feckin' waste of time. ;-)

So lets assume I have a list of tasks in db table (table looks like: ID, task, sort) And I want to reorder the task list without updating all the records in the table. I dont want to run a sql update stmt against every record to update the "sort" field. Any other easy way to do this? there has got to be a simple algo out there.

I need some ideas of how to accomplish this task. I was told that I just need to save the input in a file and make the file searchable, nothing fancy like tying into SQL or Oracle. THis is a basic program and help is greatly appreciated: You've been given an assignment by your supervisor to program a small application to monitor the current status of the cash account in the firm's petty cash fund (the amount of cash kept on hand in the...

I'm a freshman at college as a computer science major. I'm not sure it has what I want. Does anyone know if a major commonly exists in web design (focusing in server side languages)? I want to program for the internet, but don't know where to get all of my information from to be the most knowledgeable I can be. Do i find what i'm looking for in some class somewhere? if so where do i look? or do i just buy all the asp, php, xml, etc...

I would like to add at the beginning of the C tutorial I am writing a short blurb about what "types" are. I came up with the following text. Please can you comment? Did I miss something? Is there something wrong in there? -------------------------------------------------------------------- Types A type is a definition for a sequence of storage bits. It gives the meaning of the data stored in memory. If we say that the object a is an

What I want to do is a simple geo target for some ads I have. If a visitor from the UK or US views a page I want a specific ad to load up, if they are outside the UK or US a want a different ad to load up. Is this possible with Javascript? I don't need a complicated PHP script, just this simple task. Thanks.

I'm just starting out with python, after having a long history with Java. I was wondering if there were any resources or tips from anyone out there in Python-land that can help me make the transition as successfully as possible? Perhaps you've made the transition yourself or just have experience with folks who have made the transition. I'm looking for the common types of mistakes that say a Java/C# or even C++ developer may commonly...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
