I have a tables for a database that I have entried data in to. I have used
the table on my local comp. and used apache & mySql to test it out.
Now I need to upload the table to the site. But not sure how to do it. I
don't want to enter the details all again.
Can someone point me to a link that explains how to upload these tables.
Also the the webhost is using Cpanel.

Hi,
I would like to upload office-document (doc, xls, ...) using a form to a
website (apache, php, mysql) in a specific directory and if possible insert
it into a table (MySQL-db). Is this possible. If yes, how ? You don't have
to explain it in detail, a link to a website or online manual or example is
fine.

I am at my wit's end ! I have used the following script succesfully to
upload an image to my web space. But what I really want to be able to do is
to update an existing record in a table in MySQL with the path & filename to
the image.
I have successfully uploaded and performed an update query on the database,
but the problem I have is I cannot retain the primary key field in a

Hello,
I keep getting the following erorrs when trying to use a PHP/MYSQL upload script. Can anyone tell me what's causing this error? I'm not a programmer, just an MFA student working on his thesis and needs to collect images from several thousand people.
So far I have CMOD 777 the directory that uploads are going into and tried different directories but nothing has worked.

Hello everyone. I'm having problems with a page I've created that is used to insert data into a database.
It uploads two files into two distinct folder, and it takes the filenames and inserts them into a MYSQL database along with other product information.

I have found an upload script in hotscripts and have implemented it into the website, I followed the installation steps to 'give write permissions to php on the upload folder (which is _uploadedfiles_xxxx) (php must be allowed to move uploaded files to this folder' - uploadedfiles_xxxx.
I typed <?php chmod ('_uploadedfiles_xxxx',640); ?> into notepad and saved it as php in the uploaded_xxxx folder, when I went to test it, the error...

I saw somewhat similar code (pls see link below) that does mupltiple files upload. It works fine, but I wanted to populate the database with the same files that are uploaded to mydirectory, but for some reason, I am getting different file names on the database.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
