I want to edit a datagrid by linking to another form(the Edit form) when the user clicks a linkbutton.
I am trying to capture the datarow for the datagrid line where the Edit linkbutton is clicked. Then I want to
put that datarow in a public property in the first form so that in the Edit form I can display this data and allow
updates and then have the updated data show back up in the first form.

Hi,
Let me explain how I'd generally do things. For a page where the user
edits data, I'd generally call it something like editfred.php (for
example), the page which updates the data would be called
updatefred.php and equally the page which processes a delete would be
deletefred.php. I like splitting the pages up this way, it feels less
cluttered and more organised than throwing all the functionality in one
fred.php.

from you since it has no default data presentation format. However,
the DataGrid begins to get very cumbersome as the number of columns of
data you present increases. Anything more than half a dozen columns or

Have a DB table of "Contacts" -- 14 or more fields per record
Show in datagrid -- but only 5 columns (First,Last, Fax, Phone, Category).
Put an Edit column at the end...
Now what?!
If you go into Edit mode -- you can only edit 5 cells -- not all the rest of
