can you be a bit more specific? multimedia is a pretty big concept, and you would need different libraries for whatever multimedia you want to work with :)

GD lib is used for working with images for instance

Take a look at php.net/manual/en there you'll find info about your specific needs

Imagine your web hosting provider just permitted you to type *.mydomain.com and you still get to the mydomain.com website that they host for you. Imagine you want to setup websites for your family like dad.mydomain.com, mom.mydomain.com, etc. Well, this is a request and some information for you. First, here's how you could use PHP to react to what they type in the URL: <!-- save as index.php in /var/www/html on Linux Apache: --> <?php

When I try to display a web page with php embedded, the <%php .. %> part is completely ignored, so it seems. For example, the next code yields a blank page when displayed in a browser: <html> <head> <title>Test</title> </head> <body>

Our SOHO 2 person compay sells furniture (not programmers). In '98 we paid $,$$$ for a VBA -Access '97 accounting application, including VBA source code .... an huge investment for us then (and now!). The application publisher went belly up years ago. Over time we've made a number of VBA code changes (< 500 lines total). Now our CPA is urging us to switch to Quickbooks Premier for Contractors at a cost of $,$$$ plus data entry. Argh, no...

I've created a class to listen to all interfaces and do a BeginAccept(). Once it gets a connection, it passes the connected socket off and stores it in a List. Next, it continues to listen for more incoming connections and does the BeginAccpet() again. It does an infinite loop this way. My question is: What is the best way to stop this? I thought about putting a boolean in there, but then what if it's still waiting for an incoming...

The DOM API has included public Node importNode(Node, boolean) as a method of the Document interface for a long time. Does anything actually implement it? Xerces 2 is giving me: org.w3c.dom.DOMException: NOT_SUPPORTED_ERR: The implementation does not support the requested type of object or operation. at org.apache.xerces.dom.CoreDocumentImpl.importNode(Unknown Source) at org.apache.xerces.dom.CoreDocumentImpl.importNode(Unknown Source)

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
