Hi beeproject2007,

Welcome to TSDN!

I would use php and then add in Swift Mailer to make life easier.

That would be my starting point. If you don't know PHP then google php tutorial and you'll be up and running in no time.

Remember if you get stuck post back here, with code snippets (using the code tags) and as much info as you can.

Hello, as a non-developer I am currently participating in an industrial "research" project to develop a so-called "web application". This application serves at the same time as middleware to connect several other "conventional" enterprise-applications such as ERP, SCADA etc. and to provide a GUI frontend to the users. The developers are into Struts, Enterprise Java Beans and the like, so it will be entirely implemented in Java with all...

I'm trying to get into web development for creating a professional web site and I'm confused on which language I should use. I've read some comparisons between the major languages and I was thinking that python might be the way to go for the most powerful and general language but I am not sure. Does anyone know of any detailed and objective comparisons between the major languages(perl, php, java, javascript, etc...) that might help me get...

Reasons for a 3-tier achitecture for the WEB? (NOTE: I said, WEB, NOT WINDOWS. DON'T shoot your mouth off if you don't understand the difference.) I hear only one reason and that's to switch a database from SQL Server to Oracle or DB2 or vice versa... and that's it.... And a lot of these enterprises don't need it as they already know what database they are going to use and they don't plan on switching in and out database in the first...

Hi there, The project that I'm working on is a securty piece of n-tier applications which try to authenticate a user. The login page, either a web form or windows form, calls a web service (thin layer) that actually evoke a business object to authenticate user. In the internet application after the user credentials are verified, the user id is saved in cookies so it can be referred later by the business class using httpcontext. I would...

If this is not the right newsgroup for this question please direct me. I have been using VB.net for stand alone and client/server kinds of things but am beginning to explore its use for web applications. I need to ask a couple of real basic questions. My understanding is that if you are going to write an application for the web using VS.net you need to have a web server. I suppose what is meant by this is that you need to have a...

Hi all This is a bit off topic but I don't know where else to ask (please tell me if you know). I'm going to build a web application. The choice of the underlying database wasn't difficult. After a few preliminary tests I'm confident that PostgreSQL is absolutely up to the task. But I'm at a loss regarding the "middleware". I know Apache quite well, so I wouldn't mind continuing using it. But what language/application server/whatever do...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
