Hello all,
any advice or links to pages about how to have multiple language asp
pages? For example, you have a database driven website that you want
customers around the world to use. How do you setup the asp pages so
that it is easy to change the text based on where the user is
connecting from?
Thanks,
Mike

Can you do a search for more that one string in another string?
Something like:
someString.IndexOf("something1","something2","something3",0)
or would you have to do something like:
if ((someString.IndexOf("something1",0) >= 0) ||
((someString.IndexOf("something2",0) >= 0) ||

I know there is Culture feature with Asp.net, but what I want to know is
how to organize/design a web application that supports multiple languages.
What is the best approach? Do I use "If, then.." to display one block of
HTML in English, and then another block in French? Is there an easy way?
Also, "string" itself doesn't support multiple cultures, right? If I
write a "string" property in a class, how do I make the property support...

How does one launch multiple forms in an application?
Using Photoshop as an example, this application seems to be composed of many
'disjoint' forms. Yet, they all seem somewhat 'active' in contrast to one of
them always being 'modal' (e.g., if you are moving over a picture the 'Info'
form will update the (x,y) screen location in realtime even if not the
selected form. Also note that this example implies the various forms can
communicate...

Hello
I have a Java-based web application whose interface can be in multiple
languages. My requirement is that the javascript alerts that I display
should be displayed in the language in which the interface has been
generated. The interface language is dynamically loaded and the text is
displayed using Java's <fmttags.
How can I make the Javascript alerts, etc. also change their display
language dynamically? Is it possible in...

Hi,
I've been writing an app, but have recently discovered the need to go multilingual (I need primarily German). So, I was wondering, what is the best way to implement multiple languages in a C# (or any Object-oriented) environment?
My plan as of right now is to use XML files with a bunch of id/value pairs (ID might be WELCOME_STRING and value for German would be Willkommen, for example.) In the base code that loads the saved application...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Adolph will...
