Hi
I have a program which I need to interface with a webpage - the webpage will
accept an input (probably a 'post' string from the program) and then will
process it and needs to return a value. Is there an easy way to interface
the program to do this? I have two questions:
How can I call a webpage as simply as possible in c / c++ (preferably not
using MFC etc) and pass a 'post' string to the page?
How can I retrieve an array of values...

For example: Nz(,0) returns "300" if the value in
field is 300 (currency data type) and "0" if the value is
zero or null. I get strings in the query output - they are all left
aligned and I cannot add them without first converting them to
values. What might be causing this?

Good Afternoon,
New to .Net. I am trying to pass date/time values to a MS Access query depending on what value is selected from a dropdown list box (January, February, etc). I have declared those values as date datatypes and assigned their values with the # signs in front and back. When I click the submit I get the following error message:
Data type mismatch in criteria expression
cmdSelect1 = New OleDbCommand("Select Count(*) from ...

I am building an ASP.NET data entry form and when I change the values
per the dropdowns and click "save", the old values remain. Are there
any suggestions on how to update the variables to the latest data
selections?

I'm new to XML files so I'm kinda lost here. I found some example code
on reading an XML file.
My objective is simple. Read the whole XML file into memory.
Here is part of my code:
Private Sub Button1_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As
System.EventArgs) Handles Button1.Click
Dim query As String

Hi,
I have the following code that runs my report generator. The user
selects a table from a combo box, then whatever fields they want from a
list box. (This part all works and the report runs fine). There is then
a combo box they can select a field from (eg CompanyID etc) and then
the list box below that contains the values (eg Microsoft, Novell etc).
These are all multi-select list boxes. Now I can get the code to work
if the user...

Hi
I have a jsp page with 4 columns: namely Category name , Category order, Input field and a submit button.
All these are aligned in a row. And Each Category Name has its corresponding Category order, Input field and a submit button.
The Category name is being fetched from the oracle db along with the corresponding Category order.
In the corresponding input field (text box) the user enters a new category order which gets stored in...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
