Hi All,
I looked through numerous posts and couldn't find exactly what I am
looking for, so I am posting this. We have a web application that
runs reports. A user needs to run multiple reports at one time. For
example, a user would run a sales report and an employee report. What
I would like to do is have a window that basically says "Generating
report, please wait" for each report that is run. When the report
finishes processing...

But what about a couple of Close Window buttons?
Imagine a "Close Window" button at the top of the popup page.
Then the PDF which can scroll. And another "Close Window" button
at the bottom of the page.
Any suggestions for completing this task?

Hello..
This page opens a window with some information, but everytime the user
changes a field in the parent window, the child window needs to be
closed.
These 2 functions were supposed to do the work.
Nota() - opens new window.
fechaNota() - closes the window opened by Nota()
here is the code.

Question: is the flagged line (<<<) below necessary. If that line is
needed, what effect does it have (if any) on the fact that the very
same database is the linked back end db?
Dim db As DAO.Database

I am having a problem closing a popup window opened modally. When I
try to close the window (when the user hits save button and the data
has been processed), the Popup window opens as a full screen as a new
window. The original window plus the Modally opened Pop remain in a
separate window.
What I want to do is close the popup and return to the original window
with its view state maintained.
The control use to fire the popup window...

What is the difference between using Me.close vs. End to stop the
execution of a program?
I've been using me.close and putting code in the form.closing event to
make sure things are stopped before the program execution stops. This
has been working for me even when the startup is sub main perhaps
because my sub mail usually looks like
<STAThread()> Public Sub main(ByVal CmdArgs() As String)
Dim mainForm As New Form1

Hi,
I tried for the first time a Tix Tree, so, if my

Project ID is selected form a drop down bax and Company ID is selected from a combo box. I am trying to create a script that if you click exit form, and one or the other, or both of the fields have a selection it will bring up message box and inform the user of...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
