I was wondering if it is possible to create a secure database system

I am using the following code instead of a very lengthly select case
statement.
(I have a lot of lookup tables in a settings form that are selected
from a ListBox. The data adapters are given a similar name to the
table. Rather than making a long Select Case that could become
obsolete if lookup tables are added and the source table of the
ListBox is edited I came up with this code.)

if you build a 4 tier database application where the 4th tier is the
database server (MS SQL 2000), where do you build the connection string?
The obvious answer is to hard code it into the middle layer and use a config
file.
The problem is the database application needs to be distributed to

I've recently developed a VBA-program in Excel that fetches and presents
data from a distant Access database over a wireless peer-to-peer network
(both computers running Win XP Pro). It has worked relatively well for some
time, but recently I'm often encountering errors when trying to fetch the
data. I am pretty sure that this is because of a poor wireless connection
since I'm also having some problems e.g. copying files...

I am in the process of cleaning up a database that our company uses to
track jobs, time and expense, and customer information.
We are running Windows 2000 Server with approximately 20 terminals
(Each running 2000) logging in each day. Four of these terminals
access the server via Citrix.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
