I have a Windows 2003 Server with IIS 6, PHP with CGI.
Yesterday I decided to update from PHP 5.1.4 to 5.2.1, but "slash
arguments" (in a Moodle installation) stop working, I mean addresses
like this: http://www.mysite.com/file.php/folder/File.zip
Where, file.php is the script for downloading, and "folder/File.zip"
is the file to download.
Calling this address, simply return a 404 "not found" error. Switching
to normal query-arguments, the script works right. But I don't want to
rewrite all static links in pages, so I reverted to 5.1.4.
Any idea? What has changed in 5.2.1 about "slash arguments"? 0 1664 This thread has been closed and replies have been disabled. Please start a new discussion. Similar topics |

I'm getting an "Arguments are of the wrong type, out of acceptable
range, in conflicts with each other " error , pointing to the sql
statement in this block:
Dim rstime
Set rstime = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Recordset")
rstime.Open "SELECT * FROM TimestarResorts where resortname='" &
request.querystring("resortname") & "' and roomsize='" &
request.querystring("roomsize") & "'", dsn, 1, 3

I keep coming across people, online and in real life, who believe that
to code single tags like <br> and <img> with trailing slashes, <br />
and <img /> is considered "best practice" and when challenged, they
say that "everyone's going to be using XML/XHTML soon" and say that
they're "getting ready" by coding this way.
Coding this way causes validation errors in HTML 4 Transitional and
HTML 4 Strict, so it can't be "best practice".

I wanna check if an object is the *arguments* object of a function, is
that possible?
When we do:
typeof(arguments)
it always returns "object", doesn't seem to be helpful.

On that program the compiler says "parse error" on line 8, 10, 12 and 21, it also says "too many arguments" on lines 10, 12 and finally it says "at this port in" on lines 13, 14, 20 . How could I solve it? I know it may be noob mistakes, but this is my first program ;-)

int Operando_2;

As a personal learning experience with limited practical use,
I have been doing some experiments with using .htaccess to
redirect mis-typed URLs to a preferred canonical form. I have
set up a test page at http://www.guymacon.org/test.html ]
to show the results of my testing.
Most of the URLs redirect as I want them to do, but the three
URLS (with "//" instead of "/") in bold do not redirect.
I have searched the web and have not...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
