Getting larger text - also with formatting

Hello friends

I need an <inputwhich a type, which can get a larger text - like a
memobox. Not a type=text, but with multiple lines.
Where is there an overview of input types?
That might help me a lot.

Secondly, thay would like to copy and paste html formatted text, is
there a way to keep the formatting?
Or just get the text with some of the formatting left?

<textarea rows="30" cols="20"></textarea>

For advanced formatting you might google for 'htmlarea'.

Is there a way to store HTML into a MySQL TEXT column, yet be able to search over textual content only? For example, if I store the following HTML snippet: <p>A very <em>small</em> paragraph.</p> .... into an TEXT column, I would like to be able to search in the text "A very small paragraph." only, meaning the search would find "small" (even if it's enclosed in <em> tags and

Ok, I work for a small newspaper thats looking to translate our content to the web. XML sounds like a good way to do this, but i'm a little confused. Is it possible to have <b> and <i> tags in an XML document? we'd need to do this editorial style (movie names get are italic etc) When writing a dtd for the paper, it seems as though everything must appear in a linear fashion i.e. headline, body, endnotes.

Thank you in advance for any and all assistance. I'm trying to input data from strings to a memo field. I would like to know how to check first to see if there is text there currently and if so move to the end and input the new text. Also, would like to know if I can change the justification on each line of text as it's entered. i.e. Company Name, address, city state and zip would be centered and all the

Hello, I'm fairly new to access, so I apologise if there is a simple solution for this, but I have looked everywhere that I can think off to see if this is possible and how to do it. I have been tasked with creating a database of customers previous purchases and then sending out letters to them, these letters would need to be personalised so that for example: if Mr X brought good Y then the letter would automatically select a passage...

To all, Running into an out of memory error on our data warehouse server. This occurs only with our data from the 'September' section of a large fact table. The exact same query running over data from August or any prior month for that matter works fine which is why this is so weird. Note that June 2004 through today is stored in the same f_pageviews table. Nothing has changed on the server in the last couple of months. I upgraded...

The documentation for the RichTextBox is sketchy at best. I want to do a very simple task but I cannot find information on this. I am using a RichTextBox as an output window. Some text I want to just add plain (e.g.. rtf.Text += "new stuff..."; ) but some text, when added, I want to be in a different color or font size. Find() will not work because the text will vary. I have delimiters on it so I could recognize it with a regular ...

I can't seem to cut-and-paste text, with either .doc or .html formatting, into my .asp web-pages --all the formatting is lost. Is there some code that needs to be added to the page that will tell.asp to leave the formatting the way it is? I thought that the fact that .asp is a MicroSoft product, there would be complete compatibility with "word.doc" text formatting --perhaps I'm wrong about that. Thanks.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
