Is there a way to store HTML into a MySQL TEXT column,
yet be able to search over textual content only?
For example, if I store the following HTML snippet:

.... into an TEXT column, I would like to be able to search

Ok, I work for a small newspaper thats looking to translate our content
to the web.
XML sounds like a good way to do this, but i'm a little confused.
Is it possible to have <b> and <i> tags in an XML document? we'd need to
do this editorial style (movie names get are italic etc)
When writing a dtd for the paper, it seems as though everything must
appear in a linear fashion i.e. headline, body, endnotes.

I have a textfield and you of course you can select text...
When they hit the bold button I want it to obtain the selected text and
bold it, the hard part is trying to figure out if javascript can even
OBTAIN selected text?!?!
I can do this in java if I have to, I know java better than javascript,
it seems as that is the only way to do it from looking online.

Running into an out of memory error on our data warehouse server. This
occurs only with our data from the 'September' section of a large fact
table. The exact same query running over data from August or any prior
month for that matter works fine which is why this is so weird. Note that
June 2004 through today is stored in the same f_pageviews table.

I can't seem to cut-and-paste text, with either .doc or .html formatting,
into my .asp web-pages --all the formatting is lost. Is there some code that
needs to be added to the page that will tell.asp to leave the formatting the
way it is? I thought that the fact that .asp is a MicroSoft product, there
would be complete compatibility with "word.doc" text formatting --perhaps I'm
wrong about that. Thanks.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
