Hi all
At the moment, I use Dreamweaver to develop the basics of my PHP stuff and
then hand tune anything that I need to. I'm now looking at the next level
and was wondering about Zend.
What I like about DW - from a lazy man's point of view - is that I can click
on a button to add loops or user authorisation or all sorts of other things...

I'm trying out the Zend Development Environment 4, and for the most
part I like it, except for two things.
It seems to think certain lines that are perfectly valid are bugs. Like
this:
while ($row_pass = mysql_fetch_array($result_pass)) {
It gives an "Assignment in Condition" error whenever it encounters a
line like that, which is a...

I'm a little confused, I have test apps, using Pear DB.php but in my
application, and debugging through Zend studio, I have some Database
updates obviously working and then I get a Fatal Error.
Apparently, it cannot find DB.php and shows include_path as:
".;C:\PHP5"
On my Windows XP system, I've got php installed at C:\php
and any ...

I am getting frustrated of the PHP 5 releases chocking on OCI8 -- they
just seem really unstable as do recent ISAPI filters when run on
Windows 2003 Server. As an example the newest PHP 5.1.4 install for
Windows I did with OCI8 failed to load the OCI8 extension -- I wound up
dropping and older version PHP_OCI8.DLL into my install and...

I am going to use Ioncube or Zend compiler/encoder to deploy PHP5
applications on servers at customers premisses. The factors that affect
choice are:
- reliability
- easy of deployment at Apache/UNIX, Apache Windows and IIS/Windows
- price
Performace is not important

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...

These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention.
