I am trying to find the definition of "Safe Printing" and cannot find out
exactly what this entitles. The reason is that I am trying to print
contents from a single textbox to no avail using the PrintDialog control
under a security setting with only SafePrinting allowed.
I have attached a sample project that I am using to try to accomplish this.
The print dialog appears, but when I press the Print button, I get an

I was just wondering if anybody has been able to figure out how to get Safe
Printing working over an Internet Zone.
Based on what was mentioned from the previous thread titled "Safe Printing",
it was decided that this was a bug and that Safe Printing does not work. I
just need to verify that these findings are correct.

Admission first - I don't actually have a problem here but have noticed
that a lot of people have been asking similar questions and getting very
varied answers. What I've done is to sort of "compile the questions"
into a theoretical problem to see what people think should be done to
solve it.
Maybe it will be a worthwhile discussion, but more importantly maybe it

I have an application written in C# on visual studio .NET. It is a web

The application consists of many different forms, that users

printer is shared in path like \\MyServer\Intermec
I have text-file containing barcode script in file barcode.txt, and I can
print it using DOS-window from XP like ...
copy barcode.txt \\MyServer\Intermec ... and it's working fine.

I need to restrict printing to certain users and log printing within an
ASP.NET 2.0 application. Any suggestions on how to do this?
The only idea I could come up with is launch the application in a
secondary window using javascrip to keep the Print menu options from
showing and then restrict the use of CLT-P and CLT-C using javascript.
Then the only way to print would be by a button control within the
application.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
